project description:
For fire stations, numerous structural requirements for modern occupational health and safety must be implemented to permanently minimise hazards such as small parking spaces, inadequate traffic routes, poor lighting or non-slip floors. If, in existing fire stations, firefighters have to walk around large vehicles or even get dressed behind or next to them when the alarm is raised due to a lack of or structurally separated changing rooms, there is usually a concrete risk of injury that must be eliminated by the municipality. Floors must be able to withstand snow chains in winter, be impermeable to moisture ingress and be chemically resistant to petrol, oils and decontamination agents.
