The kindergarden in Scharnhausen follows a minimalistic approach. The building materials are wood and concrete. The bathrooms were colored to give an identity to the children groups and to glow like balloons.
The wall and floor coating are free of emissions and solvents making them excellent for sustainable building following DGNB or LEED.
