The MASTERTERRAZZO in quartz gray combined with a creamy MASTERTERRAZZO with Terralith supplements in warm greyish tones provides an interesting contrast in the SPA and wellness area.
In the showers, the MASTERTERRAZZO was installed on the BARIT upper composite seal according to DIN 18534 Part 1 and Part 3 for water exposure class W3-I, a permanently wet area with short-term chemical exposure. The drains were sealed at the same level and the terrazzo was worked seamlessly, which has the advantage that maintenance joints are not necessary. The shower area was given covings to avoid the risk of moisture entering the floor structure.
The synthetic resin-bonded terrazzo was built on top of underfloor heating.

The famous Andaz Hotel in Munich impresses with a spacious spa and wellness area on 2,000 square meters with exclusive treatment rooms, a 17-meter pool and rooms for relaxation. In order to create intimate zones, the treatment rooms were separated from one another by round wall shapes.
Natural colour accents of the wall mosaics in mild green and brown tones merge seamlessly into the creamy and quartz gray terrazzo surfaces. The tulip staircase that connects the pool area with the SPA is a contrast to the creamy MASTERTERRAZZO surfaces.
