The BARiT ELASTIC B 65 combines the highest standards of design , quality , feel, spirit and style .
Given the ELASTIC B met 65 high functional requirements such as light fastness and UV stability . With the creative variety of colors of the coating, the architecture obtains a style element to achieve holistic , seamless surfaces .
The elasticity of the soil ensures good damping properties , which makes standing and walking especially pleasant in this lining . The design floor is free of VOCs .
project description:
MuT , the museum underground was punctually completed for the 50th anniversary of the University of Bochum. Architecturally the MuT sets landscape gently into the earth. Space for seminal exhibitions can be used on 1500 m². 350 panoramic landscape pictures are included in the " Situation Kunst ". Initiator Alexander von Berswordt Wallrabe and his wife Silke gathered private collection with works from the 15th century to the present day.
As a unifying element of the exhibition space the floor takes through the seamless surface over every image. The client choose a silky gray Elastic B 65 as a cast floor. In order to avoid gaps a topping was built on a soil contact floor construction of BARiT.
